Missing time...

Alice watched in amazement... The Mad Hatter was pacing up and down his dinning room, ever now and again stopping to look at the huge clock hanging on the wall...  he would then shake his head and continue to pace back and forth... this continued for sometime.  Alice decided although it might not be her place to pry she would to ask what was wrong.... The Mad Hatter explained how The White Rabbit had told him that his clock would go forward an hour yesterday evening...  However so far it hadn't....   I see, said the puzzled Alice... The Mad Hatter continued pacing. While his back was turned Alice quickly move the hour hand forward one hour...  On his return to the clock a huge smile came across his face. All was okay again in Wonderland....
